THANK GOODNESS IT'S...MONDAY!

Yes that's right - for me Mondays & Tuesdays are my Saturday and Sundays as those are my days off from the show. We had a great weekend - our Hot Blades Harry - the brilliant Stephan Smith Collins had a commercial shoot on Saturday night so his understudy went on for him (Paul Sawyer who normally plays Robbie the Stockfish.) The show went really well considering we were a person short. I am looking forward to resting a little bit.

CASTING SCOOP:

Darrin Glesser who plays Mr. McQueen in Urinetown has just been cast as the male lead in Bus Barn Stage Company's upcoming production of Tick, Tick, Boom! which will be directed by Molly Bell. Way to go Darrin!! I can't wait to see this!

RANDOM FACT:

My pal Kevin Blackton (who plays Lockstock) was in the movie RENT - playing Idina Menzel's father!! Now how cool is that? I saw that the movie was in his credits but it was only recently that I asked him about it. He plays her father in the wedding scene - way cool!

There are only 3 weeks left to see Urinetown - come on down!!

Have a great week y'all & a Happy 4th of July!!!

Mwah!
